About Me

Christopher ColemanWhat is your passion? I think that's the essential question anyone must answer before deciding what to do with their life. Whatever you do with your life and your time must begin and end with one thing about which your passion is pure and unbridled.

For years, I spent my time pursuing the dreams of other people. I slaved away for years to earn my B.S. in Computer Science, and that in turn opened the door to great job opportunities. At the end of the day though, I go to work at a normal job, do normal work, and leave, though having done a great job, with little sense of fulfillment because work and passion do not align.

Not since the days of my childhood, using my dad's old 35mm Canon Pellix, had I touched a camera beyond a point and shoot. I invested in a new, albeit modest Olympus DSLR system, hoping to have a passing and enjoyable hobby. Time went by, and the hobby grew and morphed into something else. One year later, I was throwing down the cash for a Canon's photographic workhorse, the 5D. Photography had become my passion.

Today, photography is one of many passions of mine. I'm equally passionate about history, culture, and cars, and relish in the opportunity to work at the nexus of each. I'm passionate about telling stories: stories about people and their posterity. Your story is my passion.

What's yours?
